What happens at an RMT Appointment?
During a Appointment, I take the time to get to know you. Your past medical history, current history along with an assessment of the body.
Treatment is provided and homecare is given.

Honest discussion of your medical history is key in providing the proper treatment to you.
Although it can feel uncomfortable to discuss or some may even feel embarrassed, it is a judgement-free zone and we will not make you feel bad about it.

Intake during a massage is a requirement.
While some patients may want to skip it to get to get to the massage 'faster'; intake is a non-negotiable requirement for all R.M.T Massage.
Will it Hurt?
Depending on who you ask, the answer is Yes and No.
Massage can have elements that are uncomfortable that can feel like pain but, it should never be unbearable. Pushing through the Pain is a term you hear often with massage that is not the standard for any massage treatment. While there is good pain and bad pain, Massage should never make you grit your teeth or stiffen your body in pain. Intensity of pain does not equate to massage tissue depth.
I will work within your pain threshold for each treatment.
If you prefer massage without any discomfort, That is completely fine to ask for as well
Do I have to Disrobe?
I will always work within your comfort level.
To achieve the best therapy outcomes, it is easier to achieve on bare skin although, I can work on top of clothes if the patient prefers.

Before each treatment we will go over what to remove and give you the privacy to disrobe. You will be laying underneath opaque sheets .At no time will I expose you in anyway that I can see areas that are not going to be massaged.
The sheets may be held up when it is time to roll over but again, the therapist cannot see you so you have the privacy you deserve to be comfortable
